  • M.Manjunatha Prasad, an IAS officer has served in number of positions in Government of West Bengal and Karnataka, India, handling important responsibilities, particularly in the fields of Urban Development and Transport. At present he is working as Managing Director, Karnataka State Road Transport
    Corporation (KSRTC), a pioneer Road Transport Corporation in India, serving 2.5 million passengers daily, with 7,700 plus buses and earning revenue of over 60
    million rupees per day. He had a vigorous academic record with B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech. in Design Engineering from IIT-Delhi and started his career with Indian Administrative Service in 1994. In KSRTC, he has been instrumental in formulating several Innovative Environmental measures, welfare policies, introducing Innovative Technologies through State-of-the-Art bus services including Volvo Airavat(Multi-axle), Airavat Bliss(In-Bus Pantry and Chemical Toilet), Airavat Superia (Chemical Toilet Facility), Vaibhav, besides development of transport infrastructure in major cities of Karnataka State, India.
