    Andhra Pradesh Government, Situated on the country’s southeastern coast, Andhra Pradesh is India’s fourth largest state by area and fifth largest by population.     The Centre for Science, Development and Media Studies (CSDMS) is a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) located at Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. It has been actively involved in the field of development research since 1997. With an aim of using ICT innovatively, CSDMS has been continuously striving towards achieving greater heights through a wide spectrum of research activities in the space of ICT 4D (ICT for Development).     National Informatics Centre (NIC)
    The rapid advance of communication technologies, especially the Internet,has enabled governments all over the world to reach out to their most remote constituencies to improve the lives of their most underprivileged citizens. National Informatics Centre (NIC), under the Department of Information Technology of the Government of India, is a premier science and technology organisation, at the forefront of the active promotion and implementation of information and com- munication technology (ICT) solutions in the government. NIC has spearheaded the e-Governance drive in the country for the last three decades building a strong foundation for better and more transparent governance.

    NIELIT
    National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), (erstwhile DOEACC Society), an Autonomous Scientific Society under the administrative control of Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India, was set up to carry out Human Resource Development and related activities in the area of Information, Electronics & Communications Technology (IECT). NIELIT is engaged both in Formal & Non-Formal Education in the area of IECT besides development of industry oriented quality education and training programmes in the state-of-the-art areas. NIELIT has endeavored to establish standards to be the country’s premier institution for Examination and Certification in the field of IECT. It is also one of the National Examination Body, which accredits institutes/organizations for conducting courses in IT in the non-formal sector.

    nixi (National Internet Exchange of India)
    The National Internet Exchange of India is the neutral meeting point of the ISPs in India. Its main purpose is to facilitate exchange of domestic Internet traffic between the peering ISP members. This enables more efficient use of international bandwidth, saving foreign exchange. It also improves the Quality of Services for the customers of member ISPs, by avoiding multiple international hops and thus reducing latency.

    JaKeGA
    The Jammu and Kashmir e-Governance Agency (JaKeGA) was formed under the Information Technology Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir,to function as an intrinsic arm of the government with a mandate to drive e-Governance in the state. With the members of Board of Governors, the Jammu and Kashmir e-Governance Agency has been registered under the Jammu and Kashmir Societies Registration Act, 1998, for the registration of literary, scientific and charitable societies. The primary objective of JaKeGA is to design, deliver and administere-Governance projects by providing the necessary administrative, financial, legal and technical framework in the state. It will also facilitate establishment of e-Service centres throughout the state through suitable public-private partnerships to ensure that the public gets the desired information and e-Services attheir doorsteps.
