e-Governance is in essence, the application of Information and communications technology to government functioning in order to create smart governance. e-Governance in India has steadily evolved from computerization of Government Departments to initiatives that encapsulate the finer points of Governance, such as citizen centricity, inclusion, service orientation and transparency. ICTs are furthering the penetration of effective and decentralized governance. We are happy to announce the 10th eGov India 2014, a seminal thematic track conference on governance and ICT organized as part of the eINDIA 2014 Conference, Exhibition & Awards.

The focus of the eGov India 2014 track conference is on the way the different stakeholders interact when introducing ICTs in governance systems and the way these interactions affect institutions and communities, and the related decision making process.
